Zany Bots

improvising fixed routines

Before we had computers, we had programming. With a list of icon instructions, we acted as robots moving through the classroom. Avoiding obstacles. Picking up supplies. Looking for the door to the next room and our next challenge. Zany Icon Programming. It was great for a rainy-day recess.

Once we had a couple robots in motion at the same time. Short-pants soldiers of artificial artificial-intelligence. They met in the middle, swapped scripts, and were on their way. A comedy on destiny, where even observers are in on the act.
