Tiny Lives 2

sometimes, less is more

Stories short enough to read in a breath—but deep enough to take your breath away. Narrated.

Coming Winter 2024

Tiny Lives is a testament to the art of leaving things unsaid.
Great things come in small packages, and these micro masterpieces are proof. Dive in and discover how much story can be told in only three sentences.

Your Porcelain Doll

In the attic, I found your porcelain doll—a fond remnant of our youth long past.

But when I lifted it, a voice spoke softly.

“Thanks for freeing me from her grasp.”

Chastised Trust

“With what we’ve been through, how could you not trust me?” she penned.

Chastised remorse should be enough.

She sealed the letters and sent both of them.

Brother Root, Sister Flower

Two centuries hence, they look back, horrified by our meals.

We denied the rights of those who speak in silent waves.

We recognized our genetic kin—but ate them anyway.
