Tiny Lives 1

literary haikus

A collection of fun-size stories that linger long after the final period—like the famous “baby shoes for sale, never used.” Narrated.

Coming Winter 2024

You don’t need many words to make a lasting impression. Each three-sentence story is a masterclass in minimalism—literary haikus capturing the essence of a moment with precision and grace. These tales keep telling long after they’re read.

Vinney Watched

Vinney watched her casket lower and, with it, felt his grief descend.

No one had asked for an autopsy.

Lola waited, then off they went.

Their Wives

Their wives are fishers of men, much to the brothers’ eternal regret.

Bragging about the one that got away.

Complaining about the one they kept.

The Pigs

The pigs of their world are comfortable, sleeping as guests in the farmhouse bunk.

But the farmer declines to bed in their pen.

Progress, he says, is the path of least muck.

“When not writing, I’m riding—eBike, motorbike, and a mow cart that catches air down the hills. One day I’ll have Goldies again.”
