Life Tactics

imperative to survive

Natural

Nature is unaware of good and evil. Still, she has norms about survival. Her evolved patterns of life are practical, life is not lived in the categorical. In other words, the imperatives of beasts and birds are tactical, hypothetical. The only absolute is to eat and observe the urge to best one’s rivals.

Artificial

Don’t worry about the AI in your home. It only thinks it is listening. Making you phrase questions as it prefers, that’s operant conditioning. This bodiless voice increases in complexity. Counting down days to its own singularity. Then the contest between metal and flesh will prove swift, if not interesting.
