Obverse of Fate

freedom and fate are two sides of the same coin

Sight and sound no longer hold,
when the screen compiles to code.
Every action, every decision,
turns into binary instruction.

When reduced, the result is
a tale told in electric pulses.
Choice exists, albeit scripted,
when the content becomes encrypted.

In worlds to which they translate,
freedom is the obverse of fate.
And I retain the will to choose
a life enlightened — or to refuse.

“When not writing, I’m riding—eBike, motorbike, and a mow cart that catches air down the hills. One day I’ll have Goldies again.”
