Here Before

what we don’t resolve, we repeat

Been here before, we’ve all the signs. Here before so many times.

This one will be better so we’d like to believe, but we’re the ones that we deceive.

Old habits die hard, or hardly at all: yours writ large and mine so small.

The Good or The True, been here before. Our problem is exclusive use of ‘or.’

“When not writing, I’m riding—eBike, motorbike, and a mow cart that catches air down the hills. One day I’ll have Goldies again.”
